Make a difference in the world by hosting an international high school student. Becoming a volunteer host family to an exchange student is a rewarding experience and a great way to learn about other cultures while sharing ours.

Everyday will be an exceptional experience when you host an exchange student. While teaching them about life with your family in America, you in turn will be learning about their way of life in their home country. Your family will build international friendships and create memories that last a lifetime. This unique opportunity to share our customs, traditions, values and general lifestyles is what Cultural Homestay International is all about.
With the World in such turmoil, this is a great opportunity to show America's true colors, by opening our hearts and homes to an exchange student from another country!
Spending 5-10 months with an American family while attending the local high school, is a unique and challenging experience for them. It builds knowledge, tolerance and character strength, in them as well as in us, and in our own children. Students arrive anxious to improve their English conversation skills and eager to learn about family life in the United States. They are accepted into the CHI program on the basis of academic standing, English proficiency, recommendations from school officials and personal interviews. They’re excited to be treated as family members and as a result, your extended family will reach around the World! The hardest part of the program will be to say good-bye to your student at the end of their stay!
We have high school students available from many countries.
It would be our pleasure to help you select a student that best fits into your family and lifestyle! Students may share a room with host brothers or sisters that are at least 7 yrs. of age. Students arrive with medical insurance and are responsible for their own personal expenses. Please join us in sharing America’s spirit and pride with the rest of the world.
