POSITION SCOPE: Prepares inventory appraisal reports under the direction of the Editorial Manager and/or Managing Writer and Project Leader. Completes the Company Overview, Industry Overview, Key Financial Trends, and Field Visit sections with minimal direction. Develops the final report for the bank, which provides analysis of the client companys sales, gross margin, and other pertinent financial information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Produces three to five appraisal reports each month
Writes designated sections of the final report to include Key Financial Trends, Company and Industry Overviews, Key Considerations, Key Risk Factors, and Collateral Opportunities
Reviews field visit reports and analyst notes from client visits
Keeps informed with newsworthy information relevant to deals
Analyzes and provides summaries relevant to information provided through reports and notes
Researches market conditions for in-depth and thorough industry overviews
Reviews and edits writing to ensure quality
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent required
No prior experience necessary
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel operations
Demonstrated proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications, as well as other office software products in a Windows environment
Proficiency with Internet use, email functions, and website applications
Detail-oriented, able to effectively manage time, strong planning skills, and excellent analytical skills
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Manual dexterity to operate a computer
Correctable vision and hearing
Excellent interpersonal skills
Clear, easy to understand telephone voice
Ability to bend and stoop to do filing
Ability to lift 35 pounds
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer
