Financial Services Representative
General Description:
The qualified Financial Services Representative (FSR) displays a strong service ethic in dealing with our customers via telephone, email, or electronic chat. The FSR handles customer inquiries regarding Trading, New Accounts, Tech Issues, Web site navigation, Operations, Banking, and other issues. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasked, high pressure, securities market environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate promotes good customer relations by consistently providing outstanding customer service, displaying a positive attitude, and a willingness to help at all times. Upon completion of training this candidate should be capable of servicing customer needs and inquiries under minimal supervision with the highest integrity.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have (at minimum):
- Possess both FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
- Ability to work core business hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Ability to work overtime if required.
- Ability to type minimum of 35 WPM accurately.
- Competent use of business English in both written and spoken communication.
- Strong soft skills and selling skills.
- Strong communication skills to synthesize issues and explain complex subjects.
- Commitment to follow processes and procedures.
- Drive to follow up on customer inquiries not resolved at time of contact.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
Candidates are better qualified who have:
- Call Center experience (a plus).
- 6+ months prior customer service background (a strong plus).
Successful candidates must pass a background check.
