Hello everybody, I don't really know what to expect from this post, but I'm looking for a handful of people who are interested in putting together a group/club with Gymnastics/Acrobatics/Stunts/Music/Creativity in mind. I want to create a show that incorporates cool physical actions and good music with a sense of emotion and a sense of well being. Ya, it may sound kind of weird, but I want to do some Cirque Du Soleil stuff without the insane amount of talent, but a lot of original ideas. If we could get together once a week that would be great, more would be awesome, but we could basically get together, work out and do some choreography and create a show. It doesn't have to be something that would change the world or play to thousands of people, but just something to do at a local theater or college and see what people think of it. Anyways, all the details could be worked out between whomever is interested, but I wanted to get a post out there because I've been wanting to do this for some time now. I would like people with at least some professional training or high level of knowledge, but its unnecessary for you to be an Olympian or anything like that.
Or if people are just more interested in getting together and doing some gymnastics/parkour/stunts let me know too!
Little about myself:
I am a gymnastics instructor so I have professional training in the field and have been doing various physical feats for many years including, but not limited to: side show acts such as human block-head/fire breathing/juggling, some motorcycle stunting, some choreographed fights, fire handling, escape artistry, and more. I have a decent knowledge of nutrition and exercise and am currently training for my second sprint triathlon. I'm 22 year old male and am currently just kind of bored and want to do something interesting with a communal goal.
