We have students waiting in several locaitions so as soon as your paperwork is received we are ready to train you.
You will never be asked to provide your own materials or dream up activities and lessons for your students. We provide all lessons from a library of over 20,000 lessons keyed to your student’s level. Everything you need will be at your fingertips. That means no prep and no piles of papers to correct at home. Services are provided in our beautiful tutoring center in Orange, at public schools in Los Angeles County or Northern Orange County where your students are in attendance, or at public libraries . We especially need tutors who are willing to coordinate their time with the parents of our students and provide in-home services.
As an instructor you will provide individualized assistance in Reading or Math one to one, two to one or three to one.
•This is a part time job. Teaching hours are usually between noon- 8:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Some Saturday morning assignments are available. Availability these hours and one or more of these days is a must. Work as much or as little as you want.
•Spanish language ability is a huge plus. Let us know right away!
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•Live Scan fingerprinting, Department of Justice Clearance and TB test are required. We’ll tell you more about this when we chat.
•Reliable transportation is of the utmost importance.
•Use your own computer or ours to input daily student outcomes.
•Community outreach activities will be a part of sharing what you know with those who need you most.
•Excellent communication skills required as well as a desire to touch the future by teaching our youth
