We are looking for a talented Web Developer to work within a corporate marketing team. This role will be critical to improve our web presence on the Internet. The ideal candidate has experience creating top-notch graphical websites and aspires to perfect the user experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with web development team to design and maintain external web sites and ensure that they are visually effective, accessible and easy to use
• Proficient in site page layout and content presentation, rich-media ads, landing pages, mini-sites, and editorial graphics. Must be able to develop concepts and execute those designs.
• Assist in creating and maintaining site infrastructure and supporting systems
• Integrate 3rd party applications into websites as necessary
• Support web analytics and search engine optimization efforts through coding practices (e.g. tracking code from affiliate, analytic program)
• Communicate effectively with internally
• Play an active role in website planning and innovation
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive experience working in PHP, Linux environment
• Expert knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Dreamweaver
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, AJAX
• Strong Knowledge (MUST) Knowledge of CSS and browser compatibility issues
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience with yahoo store RTML preferred
• Ability to manage/utilize dynamic pages utilizing database integration. Experience with mySQL.
• Exceptional attention to detail
Basic Minimum Qualifications
• 3-5 years of professional web development experience with a solid understanding of graphic design
