Fred’s Mexican Café

Moose, Inc., had its’ humble beginnings in Hawaii. In 1980, two bartenders, a cook, and a doorhost who didn’t know much about business but knew a lot about taking care of customers, opened their first location. They understood that people wanted big portions of food for a reasonable price. They also knew that customers wanted a place where the staff was friendly and where there was always something going on!

Today the philosophy is the same and our company keeps growing. Now, we like to keep our Hawaiian roots alive with fun-loving, casual, beachy atmospheres.

We have 13 locations in Hawaii and California, with four concepts in our family. We operate Fred’s Mexican Café, Moose McGillycuddy’s, Big Bertha’s & The Typhoon Saloon.

We are searching for people who have a passion for their profession, a strong sense of integrity, and are self-motivated. The right candidates will have a loyal and healthy work ethic and will appreciate the opportunity to be creative and challenged in a team concept. We maintain high standards with very competitive goals.


Manager qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 5 years of Restaurant Management experience preferred
• Leader with excellent communication and people skills
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge of prime costs and controls
• Self-starter that, as a minimum, exceeds goals
• Able to organize, multi-task, and follow-through on a daily basis
