The Warehouse Supervisors primary purpose is ensure that orders are picked accurately, packaged securely and shipped immediately. Commitment to safety is a must at all times! An effective Warehouse Supervisor will develop a high-performing team of warehouse personnel that consistently achieves its daily productivity goals.
Responsibilities
Ensure accurate loading of all products
Conduct inventory counts and audits
Pick and pack for order fulfillment
Receive returns from customers
Organize / stage product to support daily warehouse operations
Ship / Receive / Validate all product deliveries and returns
Load / Unload Product (Forklift experience)
Complete facility security / safety inspections
Support the interview, selection, hiring, training and retention process of employees
Provide coaching and feedback to team members
Communicate effectively to team members and leads through changes in company policies and initiatives
Lead through communication via a daily warehouse planning meeting
Conduct employee performance reviews, one-on-ones and progressive discipline process when needed
Execute work safety programs & training
General housekeeping of Warehouse including consolidation of product, sweeping, organizing, etc.
Light facility maintenance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a team-lead or supervisor
Experience with ERP or POS software
Detail-oriented, able to complete accurate logs and paperwork
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
PC experience
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese highly preferred
Able to safely use various warehouse equipment, including a forklift
Demonstrates confidence and influence in leading team to achieve daily productivity goals
Skilled communicator (in groups and 1-on-1), who can set clear expectations with direct reports
Ability to hold direct reports
Ability to provide training and development for direct reports
Provides excellent role model, peer leadership and positive influence to fellow team members
Positive team-player attitude
Possesses exceptional work ethic, energy, and drive
Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds
Strong organizational skills / Attention to detail
Experience implementing security policies and procedures helpful
