Law firm wants a relationship with white collar criminal defense attorneys with extensive experience and success in aggressive defense of white collar alleged crimes, with emphasis on white collar embezzlement or fraud by a fiduciary. Candidate must have experience in preparing and successfully arguing prosecutorial misconduct motions, including Brady based violation motions. Candidate must have experience in defense of civil and criminal contempt, criminal appeals, and writs. Experience in defense of official corruption cases or Medicare and Medicaid fraud cases is preferred. Ideal candidates are former partners or associates of a noted criminal defense firm. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience and a proven record of success and can be semi-retired.
Law firm also seeks attorneys to represent debtors-in-possession for prosecution of debtor rights claims and for confirmation of debtor’s plan of reorganization in Chapter 13 and Chapter 11. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience. Ideal candidate is a former partner or associate of a large law firm specializing in bankruptcy rights litigation and confirmation of plans of reorganization.
The firm also seeks attorneys in prosecution of complex business litigation, including class actions, securities litigation, RICO litigation, legal malpractice actions, creditor rights litigation, civil rights litigation, official corruption, qui tam or Medicare recovery litigation, or any of these specialized areas. Must have at least 5 years extensive experience in Federal and State Court litigation and have multiple successful jury trial experience. Ideal candidate is a former partner or associate of a large class action law firm.
Out of state attorneys will be considered. Recently laid off associates will be considered.
California law students who have excellent word processing skills and research skills using Westlaw will be considered for additional research positions.
