I'm just asking because I feel like I'm the only one.
And as a result I got some cognitive training for my own healing
and started developing a niche for healing musical pasts, people's
pasts. It entails not just self-esteem but everything about beliefs and
how to find the right teacher and mend those open wounds.
We would consider having a person manage our booking situation if they have experience and can produce results. We need some one who can get us booking at venues that pay, even if they are at events that are out side the local L.A. area. - PLAYING THE INSTRUMENT: The correct technique for execution of different passages is emphasized. The student will learn to use the lumbrical muscles of the hands as opposed to interosei dorsales. The early emphasis placed on correct technique will prevent the student from developing tendonitis or carpul tunnel syndrome in the future. MOST STUDENTS BEGIN PLAYING MUSIC WITH BOTH HANDS FROM THE FIRST LESSON.
- THEORETICAL TRAINING: The student learns the basics of musical composition, including but not limited to construction of chords and scales in different modes.
+++INTERMEDIATE LEVELS+++
- SIGHT READING: Principles of playing at sight are examined and practiced.

- CHROMATIC HARMONY: Secondary dominants and leading tones, modulation to closely related and distant keys and borrowed chords and mixed modes are discussed. The student composes advanced pieces at this stage.
- ORCHESTRATION: The range and capabilities of different instruments are discussed, and the student learns to write music for transposing instruments as well as learning to arrange pieces.

Hey there, unsigned pop artist here looking for some talented remixers who can give me a killer deal on a dance-oriented remix for my debut single "The Mountain". I'm on a very limited budget (i'm currently in the middle of several musical projects, including my album) but I know there is some great talent out there looking for artists like me to remix so I thought I'd try craigslist out. Please understand that I am an unknown, self-funded musician and if you are a pricey remixer, sadly I can't afford you!

Ideally, you would be someone others consider "popular" (in quotes because popular is a subjective word), and know a lot of people who LOVE to see awesome bands. Our music is NOT MAINSTREAM, so you would have to know the right type of people that our sound caters to, which is more of the college kid/musician scene rather than just your average gig goer. We take on a lot of responsibility as far as marketing goes: printing flyers/merch, getting on the streets and getting the word out, but it would help us greatly to find the right audience and bring them to us.
Once we see that you can do this, things will step up to the next level, which means the money will roll right in. When we can guarantee the numbers, we can secure WELL PAYING gigs, and you will be generously compensated for your work. Rather than give you a minimal managers cut of 10-15% we're prepared to go above that, consider you a full fledged member of the band, and give you an equal 33% (as there are 2 members of the band, you would be considered the 3rd!) and even give you a title, something like "Publicity Agent" or "Marketing Manager"
