Stargate Studios, a leader in television and feature film visual effects, is currently seeking applicants for its Information Technology staff. We are looking for a person with these skill sets:

• A proficiency in Windows XP and/or Vista; Windows 2003 Server and Linux experience a plus. MCSA or MCSE-level certifications on these operating systems also a plus.
• General computer hardware troubleshooting skills are essential. Help-desk experience is a plus.
• A proactive nature is imperative.
• Knowledge of large volume raid arrays a plus.
• Networking experience including switch, router, firewall configuration and troubleshooting.

Tasks would include:
• Day to day troubleshooting and IT support for staff artists and other VFX professionals
• Assembling graphics workstations/render drones
• Hands on troubleshooting and repair of servers/workstations

This is an assistant position, and the candidate would report directly to the CTO as well as take direction from other senior technology staff and programmers.
