Account Executive at LAMILL Coffee

Overview:
Are you looking for an exciting career in the specialty coffee Industry? Do you have a passion for all things coffee and tea or a willingness to immerse yourself into the industry? Are you a people person? LAMILL Coffee is looking for an Account Executive to manage and grow our business in metro Los Angeles and beyond. The right candidate will be very organized and well spoken with an attention to detail, as well as dependable with a distinct desire to serve others. The candidate should be comfortable as a self-starter and able to handle multiple projects at any given time.

Experience:
A minimum of a high-school diploma with relevant practical business experience is required. A college degree is a plus.
Foodservice experience and selling, business-to-business (B to B) is important to us and highly desirable.
Boutique and upscale brand awareness, product positioning and understanding of high end food and beverage locations is important.

Duties:
Manage our existing book of business, both in the immediate territory and beyond. Client Visitation is an integral part of our business and will be performed on a regular basis.
Grow the existing book of business by being a resource to our clients, by identifying an appropriate product mix, by strategically growing the product mix. Ask for referrals from our most important clients to expand our business opportunities.
Networking through prospecting and cold-calling is a large component of this position and will involve an ever growing and changing list of prospects that are targeted to fit within our brand of product offerings.
Develop and maintain an ongoing sales pipeline and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and special events as scheduled.
Prepare and mail proposals, estimates, service contracts and a variety of client specific documentation in order to develop new clients. Maintain a flow of communication to track all proposals within the prospect life-cycle.
Communicate effectively with all LAMILL departments to ensure successful business operations for both our existing clients and all prospective clients.
Follow all previously established company Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOP’s) for the sales cycle and serve as a liaison between the client and LAMILL as well as between the sales department and all other LAMILL departments.
Exceed the expectations of the Director of Sales and CEO as laid out in the overall job description.
Participate in training activities designed to broaden your available skills.
Be flexible to take on other duties as assigned.
