SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Principal Developer is to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development and delivery of our next generation computer forensic and enterprise security software. This includes developments, enhancements, and version upgrades.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, development and delivery of enterprise security and forensic software, while adhering to strict timelines, coding guidelines, deliverables, and quality.
Responsible for developing functional application specifications, systems design criteria and developing, testing and maintaining applications in accordance with specifications.
Perform technical analysis and design, coding, testing, and release preparation.
Participate in product related projects, infrastructure, capacity upgrades, and projects to improve processing and automation.
Develops and documents functional and technical requirements.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be technically sound as this is a hands on role.
Must have a minimum 5 years of C++ development
Must have solid experience with multi-threading
Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid foundation in Windows OS architecture.
Experience with Unicode and international standards (RTL).
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential to the success of the role
Demonstrated ability to create detailed system recommendations and project rollouts.
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, provide guidance and instruction to others, communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally.
Ability to understand and follow direction and to participate as a member of a departmental project team.
Ability to manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks.
Ability to work independently to accomplish long-term, complex objectives.
Demonstrated ability to learn new hardware/software/operating systems independently.
Experience with networking and web services
DESIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
64-bit development experience.
Experience with file-system design.
Experience implementing copy-protection schemes.
Experience with user interface programming (GUI).
Experience with complex algorithms.
