Ocean Export Agent
International freight forwarding company is seeking an Ocean Export Agent to work in our City of Industry office.
We are looking for an individual who has experience in international shipping, export documentation and customer service. Candidate will be responsible for issuing ocean freight arrival notices, obtaining documentation from vessel operators, approve and insure timely payment of due charges to carrier, tracking and tracing shipments and communicating with our overseas offices to insure seamless movement of cargo.
Additional job responsibilities include:
-Professionally interface with customers and brokers
-Excellent oral & written communication skills
-Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook applications
-Arrange the movement of freight by ocean
-Interacts with carriers and co-loaders
-Billing and invoicing
-Strong customers service skills
Minimum of 2 years export operations in ocean freight required.
