Hello there. Thanks for stopping to read my posting. I've spent a lot of time thinking about putting up this post, wondering what, if any, type of responses I would get, but I figured, what have I got to lose, other than my dignity of course. LOL...

I'll start by telling you something about me. I'm 41. Moved late last year from the Bay Area to Rosamond, Ca. and it's been a complete culture shock. I'm a city lady by nature so the High Desert is something I'm still getting used to. At the moment I am unemployed. I would like to be employed but I do not drive and so would have to find something close to home and I don't know if there are any available jobs in my area. I moved down here with my mother and my 22 yr old son and the only interaction we get is each other for the most part. I thought I needed to look into the possibility of finding a special friend to do things with. It would be a plus if you had a fun group of friends, men and women both, that we could hang out and do things with sometimes.

Yes I am 41. No I am not a spring chicken anymore but don't feel like I'm ready to throw in the towel completely.

I have sort of a sorted past and I have been reluctant about approaching the subject of even pursuing a relationship of sorts, but I figure the right person or people will accept me for who I am, not necessarily, what I've done. I also wanted to be upfront and honest so as to not deal with those that would be judgemental or not accepting of me. While in my 20's I had a bad drug problem. In my 30's I was an escort, or as laymen terms might put it, a prostitute. I was safe and used the money I had to pay my billls and help finish raising my sons. I have also worked in the professional field in Support positions for upper level management. I guess you can say I have led a somewhat varied life. While I cannot say I am proud of everything I've done in my life, I can say that it has taught me a lot about life. There is still one person that I see in terms of a monetary arrangement and that is because I have to. Without a job you have to figure out something to continue to be able to eat, drink and get from day to day but I am looking for more of a connection with someone. Something based on real friendship and both people interested in the other person for more than just sex or monetary gain.

I found out earlier last year that as a result of my drug use in my 20's, I developed Hep C. I've done some reading on Hep C and have learned that it is a blood on blood spread disease and that as a general rule, it is not spread sexually. Besides that I have no diseases and it has not affected my liver thus far.

Well, I think I have aired all my dirty laundry. Hopefully getting it out of the way will prevent me from meeting someone cool who finds out about it then wants nothing to do with me...LOL.

I am currently a smoker of cigarettes and 420, but would like to stop so it's probably better if you are a non smoker, but if you are a smoker looking to quit, maybe we can be an encouragement for eachother.

About my looks. I'm not gonna say that I am attractive and I'm not gonna say that I am ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Like I said I am no spring chicken anymore. I have some wrinkles starting to show on my face a bit and in the last year noticed a little more grays coming in. I'm a caucasian woman, with light brownish, blondish reddish hair, with some tiny bit of sprinkled grays coming in at the top. Brown Eyes. 5'5" tall. Weigh about 130. I'm about a 34C if that matters. What else can I tell you? Ah yes. I have a tiny scar on my left butt cheek from my drug using days. Other than that you can't tell that I ever used drugs.

I am reluctant to put up a picture but will send one to those that reply that I have an interest in. I like to have fun. Love comedy. Love Music. Every once in a while I catch a glimpse of a guy driving to their job at Edwards Air Force base and my heart swoons a little. I will say this about the type that I am looking for. I like to be attracted to the person that I am with so I am not looking for someone too much older than myself but if you are younger that's fine. Just don't be a player type...Not looking to meet up with a bunch of guys just looking for sex under the geises of "Just having some fun"...I do agree that sex can be fun with the right person but to me that right person is someone that you would actually get to know, spend time with and develop some kind of relationship with.

Ok then, I think I about covered it all. I would be surprised if I heard back from anyone, but I'll keep my thinking positive.
