The Interaction Designer will implement measurement tools, monitor and measure the performance of website and online marketing activities, interpret and analyze the information gathered in order to track success and optimize the site for user experience and ease of use.

Primary responsibilities
* Study site traffic, Google Analytics / Website Optimizer data to identify and troubleshoot user experience issues and create simple, intuitive page designs.
* Design elegant, clear comps for new site functionality, including graphic design, site navigation, website graphics and layout of content for the website and special site applications.
* Create visual concepts that match the content and the brand of the site; ensure easy navigation and usability that�s accessible and logical; recommend improvements to existing designs if necessary.
* Design using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible across platform and browser type
* Maintain and update existing designs.
* Contribute ideas and input to the overall development of the website and the Web Development group in general.

Requirements
* 5 to 7 years of experience in interactive / user experience design on the interactive agency, web development firm or client side.
* 5 years in web analytics; market research experience preferred (the most desirable past experience could include, but is not limited to, web analytics at an e-commerce or dot-com company)
* Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. XML, HTML, XHTML, Javascript and CSS and have a general understanding of PHP and MySql and how design and programming work in tandem.
* Ability to wireframe and design sites from scratch.
* Solid experience with and understanding of User Interface Design, Social Design, E-commerce Design and Application Design.
* Solid understanding of social media and Web technology; experience using Google Analytics and Adwords data to inform designs.
* Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with strong visual design skills, layout, typography and high graphic standards.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
* Ability to work on aggressive deadlines on multiple/simultaneous projects
* Ability to create designs that work across platforms and web browsers.
* An online portfolio that displays a sensibility for clean, clear, elegant, and intuitive design/user experience.
* Experience designing engaging landing pages, banner ads and HTML emails
* Ability to translate designs into HTML, CSS, and Flash.
* Some print design and or product design experience
* Technical minded but able to work across disciplines, consider business issues, think strategically
