The Design People/Agent Image is looking for a System Administrator to assist with management of our application environment. The role will be in charge of system administration and operations for storage, backups and servers in a heterogeneous and complex environment. You must be experienced with multiple server operating systems (UNIX, Linux, FreeBSD, Ubuntu, Mac, and Windows), SAN, NAS, DNS, Apache, MySQL, RSYNC, and have strong knowledge of shell scripting for Unix.

Requirements

o The ideal candidate would have at least 4+ years of hands on experience in working with Unix servers in a production environment.
o Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of services such as DNS, SMTP, SSH, HTTPD and SSL.
o Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers and switches.
o Experience with network attached storage devices and RAID (RAID 5,6,10 mainly).
o Must have some working knowledge of base development languages such Perl, PHP, and C. Experience in Python, Java, and Ruby are a plus.
o Must having working knowledge with MTA email systems like Postfix, Exim or Qmail.
o Must understand Unix network based programs like Samba and NFS

Responsibilities:

� Maintain servers and network security.
