Seeking Script With A Church Location For A Short Film (Los Angeles)

I am a two time award winning filmmaker who has a location for a new project and I need a script to fit it.

This Winter we ask: What does "dinner game" mean in today's society? In today's fast-paced, on-the-go world, is there such a thing left?

The Ahimsa Collective, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to spreading non-violence through the abundance of art, is currently looking for writers, playwrights, and/or screenwriters interested in collaborating with exciting contemporary choreographer on an original Dance Theater show that revolves around the above questions. The show will be set up as a �tasting menu� featuring different writers monologues, scenes, or short stories for each course, intertwined with dance and film. Writers of all ages and backgrounds welcome! The show will be premiering for a 3 week run in May- with hopes of touring beyond Los Angeles later in the year. We hope to create an unforgettable evening that touches on themes of love, loneliness and ritual.

We are seeking someone to do some rough translating of documents for our company. You will need to be able to read Chinese fluently. We will need you to roughly translate miscellaneous paperwork and then notate on the actual document the translated words in English. The paperwork overall is not complicated, some pages will only have a few words and others will be more complete.
Translation is more for verification purposes than anything else. However, confidentiality is required and a confidentiality agreement will have to be signed.

Established feature-film screenwriter (multiple screen credits, awards) seeks intern to assist in the adaptation of a best-selling novel. The bulk of the work for the position will be reformatting parts of the novel from Microsoft Word into Final Draft, on an Apple computer, while the writer writes. There may also be some running for lunch or supplies.

If you�re interested, it should be for the reference, and the experience (which will be relaxed, hopefully fun, and rewarding). There will be some pay, but not much.
