Hi,
I'm looking for a professional, creative, trustworthy gal who lives in the South Bay with whom to concurrently start writing our first novel. I just picked up "Book in a Month," by Victoria Lynn Schmidt, and starting on June 1st, I'm gonna go for it. It would be great to have someone to do this with.
I'm 27 female, a middle school teacher who is on vacay right now. I don't care about your profession as long as you are educated, driven, etc, but another teacher would be AWESOME, because a lot of my novel takes place in a school setting. My work is not morbid, but it does deal with some controversial issues, so you do need to be somewhat open-minded. So in a nutshell, my ideal writing partner would be: FEMALE, 25ish-35ish, sane, happy, friendly, focused, and encouraging. No flakes please--I don't have time to deal with that bullshit--and no one with major issues. I tried doing something like this once, and the woman that showed up didn't want to do anything but talk about herself and her life. I couldn't get a word in, and I am a talker :) Anyway,that's all for now--hope to hear from someone soon.
