Week long canyoneering, rock climbing and mt. biking (Central Utah)

I'm taking a week long end of May Utah canyoneering, rock climbing and mountain biking trip. We have couple people going but are looking to have a group of 6 to 8 in the canyons for safety reasons. Most of these canyons are be doable by any fit person with a skilled leader with the exception of two the Squeeze and Pandora so if it is clear after Quandry you are not up to the challenge you might have to sit those out but that is it. If you have never canyoneered or rock climbed it will not be a great beginner trip but if you are in good shape you should be ok. We can meet up and I can make the call. If you are a ultra runner, triatholete, or navy seal or something you'll love it all. At this time we are planning to departing from LA Friday night May 24 and return Sunday June 1st. The trip will start with 2 days sport climbing at Maple Canyon, then onto 2 days of canyons in the San Rafael Swell, then 3 days in Moab (2 easy canyons, including a one in Arches National Park, and a Mountain Bike ride we will rent bikes) with 2 nights at a hotel to freshen up and rejuvenate, 1 canyon in Capitol Reef National Park and 1 canyon near Zion National Park. At the end is the rough plan and budget per person.

I was well known in college for spring break trips just like this and this trip should be better than any of them. I do this sort of trip about once a year so I don't really care if you wish you could make it but can't. Since we will be travelling in a group together you will need to meet me first. Two choices next week Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night in Whittier between about 5 pm and 6 pm or in Santa Monica after 6 pm. If we meet and I don't think you can handle it I'll just say no. I'll be away all weekend mountain biking.

You will come back insainly tired from this trip but no one will believe you did so much in 9 days.

Mountain Biking Night Ride (Wednesday nights) (West Side / Santa Monica)

That work thing getting in the way of your trail miles? We're looking for new faces for the Westside Wednesday night mountain bike ride. A small group of regulars meets at Cynergy Cycles on 25th and Santa Monica Blvd. around quarter till 8:00, and rolls out on the hour for a quick-paced ride.

Rides are almost exclusively in the nearby Santa Monicas but sometimes elsewhere (Chesboro or Backbone sections in Malibu). Most of the rides are decided on the spot by 8:00 PM and usually involve variations off the nearby Sullivan Canyon, Sullivan Ridge, Westridge, Will Rogers/Backbone, etc, Caballero, Farmers, etc.

This is a fast ride. There's some socializing while riding up, some regrouping, but it's generally a consistent and demanding pace for about 1.5-2 hours, usually finishing with some fast downhills where the trailbikes really shine. For numbers, we've had as many as 20, as few four, but averaging around eight. Guys and gals both welcome, just be a moderately fit and capable rider.

DO NOT MAKE THIS YOUR FIRST MTN BIKE NIGHT RIDE

Bring a decent bike, decent light/s (this is critical), basic tire change kit, and maybe a few bucks to have a beer or two afterwards at McCabes, near the original meeting spot in Santa Monica (optional, but we usually do it). Come check it out.

I have a weekly group of beach volleyball players, who play Sunday mornings in Santa Monica at Ocean Park. Would you like to join? We are good players, late 20s and 30s men and women, but not experts, and not too serious. It's mostly about fun and exercise. We almost always play 3-on-3 games. But we may play 2-on-2 or 4-on-4 depending on how many people come.

I'm looking for players who can be on the sand and ready to play at 10:30AM on Sundays. There is parking in the beach lot, right next to the sand. The focus is on playing beach volleyball and enjoying the outdoors. The games are friendly, and nobody is serious or angry. Safety is a very important issue for our game, there is no super-hard spiking.

So there you have it. If you are a social person who isn't hung over on Sunday mornings, and you are motivated to get out on the beach early and have fun, write back and let's meet for beach volleyball in Santa Monica!

Looking to practice for the 2008 WSOP... Need to play against new faces and different styles of play to get me ready for this year�s event.

I have been holding daily tournaments for several years using professional casino tables, chips, cards and a clock. I also have professional poker dealers available to deal the game. I have been a floor-man at the local casino and abide by the TDA rules. (With some MINOR changes...

I take pride in the way I run my game and ALWAYS look out for the integrity of the game.

Although it is a STRUCTURED tournament it is a very FUN kicked back atmosphere with many players varying in Age, Sex and Race. All are welcome to participate.

Food: Bring-in or call for delivery.
Smoking: Must be done outside
Alcohol: Although I do not drink, I do not mind Moderate Alcohol.

We make sure no one is offended and everyone feels comfortable.

Format: No Limit Hold'em
Normally 1-2 table Sit & Go
$10 Buy-in, No Re-Buys ($20-$50 weekends)
Start with 4500 in chips.
Blinds start at 25-50 and increase every 15 min. Tournaments last 2-3 hours.

If you want to play with various people that know how to play....or at least they think they do........this is the place to be!

Hello, my name is Michael Bonanno and I'm a developing medium in the Los Angeles area. I'd like to find some people who would be willing to use their computer's instant messaging program (Yahoo, MSN, iChat etc) to do practice readings. This won't cost you anything because I'm doing it to develop my connections. Your time is just as valuable as mine. I really started out as a skeptic because I had this stereotype of people who called themselves "psychic". I would hear them say that they could walk into a room and "feel" the energy. But I would laugh and say "oooooook, well good for you, but I've never felt "energy in my life". So I observed from afar. Then after so many years of badly picked roommates, I decided that I should really hone my intuitive skills so that I could tell if the next roommate would work out or not.

I decided to join an online class by Sandy Anastasi, medium John Edward's psychic teacher. I thought, "well if Sandy's class doesn't help, nothng else will." I teamed up with a fellow classmate named Holly and started the psychic aptitude test. The test consisted of sending shapes (triangle, square, star, circle) that were colored (red, yellow, orange, blue, green, purple, and white). At the end of the test, I had gotten 14 out of 17 right. Then my ego got all into it and I did terribly after that. But that really taught me something important: when I'm full of myself, that's exactly when I won't connect. Also, I've tried sending and receiving shapes with other people... and those times didn't work nearly as well as when Holly and I would work together...so not everyone connects equally or in the same way. Like Forest Gump says, "it's like a box of chocolates" :)
