This unique Career opportunity involves working with an entrepreneurial team of sales, marketing and product professionals to create world-class conferences. As a project leader, you are empowered to initiate alliances with speakers, publications and associations, identify potential sponsors and travel to your events to manage on-site activities when needed. You will research conferences topic ideas via phone, internet and trade publications, recruit top industry speakers, write conference brochure copy and manage all aspects of the event from start to finish.
This position requires:
• Self managing, motivated, committed and responsible
• Organized and detailed orientated
• Excellent writing & editing skills
• Internet Savvy-researching
• Project management-ability to juggle many projects at once
• Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and with all levels of management
• Ability to establish and maintain client relationships
• Limited travel with overnight stays
• Aerospace experience a plus
• B.S. or B.A. degree preferred
• 2-5 years applicable work experience
