open mic in (venice high school) gardens ---every LAST SATURDAY---(upcoming MAY 31st)---from 1-6pm ---
"the poets spirit: poetry, music art potluck for peace love and humanity"
daytime outdoors open mic... join forces for a progressive, healing and meaningful day on sacred grounds. come share your poetic, musical and any form of creative self, inspired under the bright sun amongst beautiful nature, come to honor and be blessed by the representation of indigenous/spiritual cultures (manifested here by devotional hands of volunteers), crops that feed the homeless, and are a symbol of change toward autonomy and shining light upon the irresponsible oppressive iniquities of the "political system" ...this place is a real miracle!!! come nourish your dreams and ideas in a most creatively cultivated environment on the land, and be a part of and enhance living differently from the injustices and lack of idealism in our society!!
we'll be sharing a vegan potluck, an acoustic set in the "kiva" ampitheatre amongst Chinese and Indian herbal medicine, followed by a set with mics and p.a. and DJ (spinning roots dub rock jazz ethnic electronic classical organic universal and soulful conscious grooves) on the "chi" patio. open to spontaneous collaboration, guaranteed to stir and uplift the visionary blessings of potential within your soul!! (..for man's loosing site of his own cosmic truth reflected in nature is the underlying cause of all destruction, as nature gives generously and is always nourishing unconditionally. tapping into the Essence of our own Original making is the only way we will earn a lasting fulfillment...)
