IMMEDIATE OPENING AS A PROJECT/EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT IN CULVER CITY, CA!
Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) is one of the leading providers of one-on-one services for individuals with autism in Southern California. Our customized programs address the various needs of children, their families, schools, and communities.
AST specializes in providing play-based ABA therapy. Specifically, we believe that children can only overcome autistic responding by learning functional language and social skills within genuine social interactions. We value empirically-validated methods such as Pivotal Response Training that target the child's motivation to interact, and increase the generalization of treatment gains.
AST is a leader in this type of evidence-based service. By targeting the child's social success, beyond his or her ability to simply acquire many skills, we are increasing the opportunities for successful learning at school, in the community, and in all activities where social understanding is critical. Beyond developing critical skills in ABA, our staff learn to target the symptoms of autism. It is in valuing the authentic play interactions of young children that we set ourselves apart from the rest.
Headquartered in Culver City, California, AST provides services throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach, Inland Empire, the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys and San Diego.
AST is proud to have 12 Ph.D.'s and 45 BCBAs on their team. If you are looking to further your career and continue your training working with many of the strongest practitioners in the field.
