Interior Design and Manufacturing company specializing in the hospitality industry seeks an energetic and qualified designer to further strengthen our firm’s design offerings.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Select and develop interior finishes and prepare color palettes and finish boards for client review and approval
Present interior design ideas to clients and senior personnel
Working closely with demanding clients, multiple vendors, construction managers
Strong ability to use AutoCAD with a critical eye for detail, including completing floor plans, furniture plans, floor covering plans, interior elevations, interior details, ID drawings etc...
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to communicate design ideas visually and through oral presentation with strong hand-sketching skills
Knowledge of interior materials and finishes including: tile, plumbing, fabric, lighting, woods, etc
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Knowledge of Sketch Up and/or other sketching tools
InDesign or Photoshop skills
5 year + of design experience
3 year + post college AutoCAD experience.
