Attend the Uplifting Minds II entertainment conference's national talent competition showcase Sunday, June 29 from 1 - 3pm at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The showcase is free and open to the public.
Artists in vocal (all genres), song writing and dance compete before a panel of entertainment industry judges that will score and comment on performances. Winners in each category receive a list of prizes, aside from the ULMII Award, such as free legal consultation time with a Burbank attorney; free vocal coaching from a NJ coach; 30 days air-play on an internet radio station; appearance on Platinum Plus TV (Comcast ATL & Baltimore), an image make-over from an NY image consultant and much more.
The first day of the conference Saturday, June 28th is a day of entertainment seminars from 1 - 7pm at the LA Convention Center. Some seminars topics include "entertainment law tips," "Gigs in TV," and "PR/media and promotions." Students receive 1/2 off.
