LACED Interactive is seeking an Interactive designer. Candidates should have 1-3 years of interactive design experience. We are looking for rare individuals that have a gift for original thinking, are passionate about interactive design, and have a broad exposure to design styles as well as having a mastery of the tools involved in developing the interactive medium. Candidates must have proficiency with PhotoShop and Illustrator. He/she must have excellent communication skills and be a great team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. We are seeking an individual that must be extremely motivated to work on cutting-edge creative and willing to be challenged. We are looking for people that are willing to work hard and grow with us.
Required Skills:
• Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Up to date with current design knowledge and trends specifically in the interactive space.
• Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Ability to work with Creative Directors to create a successful campaign.
• Ability to respond to performance metrics in order to achieve client objectives, including the ability to be very meticulous with design details and quality.
• A positive, professional attitude, and team oriented is a must.
• HTML, CSS (The ideal candidate will be someone who completely scoffs at using tables and understands the separation of content from design.)
• Productive knowledge of Flash, Dreamweaver, and the basic fundamentals of ActionScript.
• Must have a clean, attractive, and engaging design style.
• Must possess an out-of-the-box design style much like Nike, Adobe, Fox Racing, and Burton websites.
Desired Skills:
• A natural talent for interaction and motion design.
• Working knowledge of 3d apps, sound design, and video editing tools is a plus.
• Able to wire frame and develop functional specs.
• Have a strong understanding, background, and/or education for Interactive Branding, Micro Site design, rich-media, and social media outlets.
• Bachelors degree
This position is a contract position, but with fast potential in becoming a full time gig. A resident of southern California is highly desirable. But hey it is not that bad we are across the street from the beach.
