The L.A. Youth Network is hiring Outreach Organizers & Field Managers to be part of our ground breaking outreach campaign. The L.A.Youth Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides services to homeless and at-risk youth. LAYN is a leading shelter for youth in the State. LAYN is launching a groundbreaking canvassing campaign to raise resources, funds, food, clothing and new volunteers to assist with the growth and operations of the agency.
80,000 homeless people sleep on the streets of the Los Angeles every night. 10,000 to 12,000 of those are homeless youth making LA not only the homeless capital of the nation but also the youth homeless capital. Homeless youth routinely fall victim to prostitution and physical abuse, HIV/AIDS and other diseases are constant threats. Shelters and service providers are struggling to meet the intense demand for their services. This is an urgent time.
