POSITION: Customer Service Specialist

Essential Skills:
1.) 1+ years experience in a administrative assistant and customer service role
2.) Multi-tasking with data entry and phone skills
3.) Ability to understand accounting and word processing software. (Netsuite and Quickbooks skills a plus)
4.) Take payments from customers over the phone and process payments in accounting system.
5.) Insatiable desire to continue to grow and move to more challenging roles with the organization.
Description: Rapidly growing stem cell storage company seeks a Customer Service Specialist in downtown Santa Monica. The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for inputting and maintaining customer records, among other accounting duties in an accounting team based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with collection experience that is interested in a rapidly growing biotech field.
Daily Duties:
•Match customer payment to outstanding accounts receivables
•Collect on outstanding invoices
•Run account receivable reports for management
•Maintain customer files
•Provide general clerical support in the areas of mail distribution, filing, correspondence typing, faxing, and copying
•Phone answering a must
