Our client, a successful opportunistic real estate investment firm, is looking for an outstanding real estate analyst to support the Residential and Multi-Family team. The real estate analyst will be responsible for:
- Cash flow and financial modeling in Argus and Excel
- Providing support to the acquisitions, workout, construction, design and teams in the Los Angeles office
- Fundamental analysis of potential investment opportunities
- Helping to evaluate, formulate, structure and close transactions working directly with the senior management of the firm
- Coordinating property due diligence, analyzing lease economics and market fundamentals
Appropriate candidates MUST possess:
- One to three years of analysis experience in real estate or real estate investment banking and corporate finance, prefer some exposure to residential properties
- Expert knowledge of Excel
- Four-year degree in economics, finance or related, from a top tier school with history of stellar academic performance
- Strong real estate financial modeling and analysis skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements, operating budgets, leases and all other documents relating to a real estate transaction
- Strong understanding of real estate markets
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Superb oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, constantly changing environment
