We (myself and my boyfriend) are looking for a roommate or roommates for a two story townhouse that we all already currently own. We are in our mid twenties, working people. We have a pug, who is allowed all over the house, but won't be in your room or bathroom (he's house trained.)
Details about the complex:
gated complex, jacuzzi and pool, small park-like area with a picnic bench, inside parking for guests, close to the freeway where the 405 and 110 cross.
Details about the room:
each room is a private room, one bigger than the other. you'll be sharing a bathroom with the person who rents the other room. not sure of exact room sizes, but one is bigger than the other. both have windows and standard size closets. both rooms have new hardwood floors, new paint, and smaller room has new wooden window ledge.
details about the townhouse:
small fenced in patio, we have a barbeque that you're welcome to use,washer and dryer that you're also welcome to use. the downstairs is furnished about as much as we want it to be: two leather couches, dining table, coffee table, side table, television and stand, the kitchen has all the usual so please don't bring dishes. There aren't many rules about the common area, only common courtesy cleaning and smoking must be done outside on patio.
There is no garage parking available. Street parking is readily available, and guest parking is in the complex. Neighborhood is decent, but not fancy. Complex itself is nice.
What you should be:
respectful of other people's things, the space you live in, and you must pay on time. You must pay the first month immediately upon moving in. No exceptions. You must give notice for 30 days when moving out. You must be looking for a long term arrangement. You are allowed to have overnight guests, but please don't move anyone in that you didn't state from the beginning.
Cost: (Finally!):
$600 a month for the larger room, $500 for the smaller room, including standard first and last. You must be willing to have a credit check run on you. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Utilities include: high speed internet, wifi, HD premium cable, water, electric and association fee. There is heat in the house (which is included,) but no air conditioning. A relatively small-medium size dog is possibly okay, but a deposit may be required which is refundable at leaving if no damage is done. NO CATS! We have enough outdoor cats.
