IT Support/ Web Developer
About us:
Symmetry Electronics is a leading design-oriented, franchise-authorized distributor of electronic components specializing in serving the Wireless, Networking and Audio/Video markets. We are a growing company and are currently in need of help in a variety of different areas; looking for a hard-working dedicated person with a diverse skill set.
Job Description
• IT support
o Software installation and updates
o Help desk for company users
o User system setups
o Install servers & desktops/laptops
o LAN administration
• Web Developer
o Write code to run the company web sites.
o Knowledge of Classic ASP a must
o Knowledge of MS-SQL is a plus.
Job Qualifications
Must leave within a 15 miles radius (we are located at Hawthorne, CA 90250)
Web Developer
• Experience developing web sites using Classic ASP is a must.
• Knowledge of HTML & CSS is a must.
• Knowledge of MS-SQL programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming in ASP.NET is a plus.
IT Technician
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2000/2003 and MS Exchange environment
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Familiarity with network protocols and services: DNS, HTTP, WINS, FTP, DHCP, SMTP
• Hardware installation and repair experience
• Ability to prioritize projects and requests
• Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking
• Strong Internet and computer skills as well as a familiarity with ecommerce websites
• The ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with users at various professional levels
• Dependable, team player who is willing to work late occasionally for installs, deadlines and emergencies
• Familiarity with VM-ware is a plus.
• Familiarity with MAS200, Saleslogix & Crystal Reports is a plus.
