Responsibilities Include:
Provide a first point of contact for users answering questions and successfully troubleshooting PC hardware & software related problems. Assist with the operation and maintenance of local and wide area networks as required. Perform remote support using remote administration tools. Ensure that proper IT network-related policies, procedures, and standards are enforced. Perform additional duties as assigned in order to ensure project success, guarantee satisfaction and achieve department goals. Must be flexible with time.
Technical Skills:
• Experience with installing, supporting and troubleshooting multiple operating systems
• Advanced knowledge of common applications such as Microsoft Office 2007, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
• Knowledge of IT hardware including printers, scanners, faxes, scanners etc…
• Knowledge of network principles including TCP/IP, VPN, switches, wireless, etc…
• Knowledge of Ghost desktop imaging software
• Network printer maintenance and support
• Knowledge of Server 2003/2008
Experience in medical office and EMR preferred
Non-Technical Skills:
• Demonstrate strong service and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work well with others
• Good communication skills – being able to communicate technical solutions/subjects in a manner which is easily understood by the user
• Sets priorities, organizes work and meets deadlines to ensure effective customer support
• Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision as well as function as part of the team
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude while displaying common sense and good judgment
• Some occasional off-hours support may be required
Work Experience:
• 2 - 4 years of IT Administration experience.
Education:
• Bachelors Degree in computer science, information technology or other related field desired. Related education programs and experience will also be taken into consideration.
