TargetCast Networks, Inc., an early-stage venture-backed Away-from-Home digital advertising company, is looking for a passionate, creative, and self-motivated individual to run the IT and Telecom infrastructure. TargetCast Networks has just consummated its 1st acquisition of the El Segundo based Ripple TV and expects to continue its rapid growth in 2010 and beyond. The Company maintains a heterogeneous environment with Windows, Mac,, and Linux platforms under management. This position reports to the VP of Software Development and Server Operations. TargetCast Networks has an extremely seasoned management team with a very unique solution in the Away-from-Home digital advertising space.
Duties include:
Managing data connectivity and telco (VOIP) for three offices (El Segundo, CA; San Ramon, CA; and New York City)
Managing operations at our data center (connectivity, security, storage, monitoring, and operations in a Linux environment including Xen virtualization)
Managing operations for our hosted servers (Rackspace.com, Crystaltech/Newtek)
Providing network, laptop, and desktop support for end users in a mixed environment (Windows, Linux and Mac) including mobile/home workers
The right candidate must balance day to day issues and troubleshooting with strategic initiatives such as knowledge management and collaboration solutions. The position requires a self starter who can triage and prioritize tasks independently. This position is based in our El Segundo office but some travel to our other offices may be required.
