Multinational Media Company with a Los Angeles presence is currently seeking a Virtualization Engineer to manage an already heavily virtualized local data center and spear head VMware initiatives for the company across the globe.
Requirements:
-Must have extensive VMware ESX experience (3.5 preferred)
-Strong track record of managing P to V projects and maintaining a heavily virtualized environment
-Windows 2003/2008
-Active Directory (AD)
-HP EVA a plus
-Backup Exec a plus
You will be the point person for managing both local and global data centers of an infrastructure that consists of over 1000 servers. Along with extensive VMware work you will be responsible for the general system engineering duties (i.e. Deploying/troubleshooting applications). Excellent base salary and overall benefits package). Interviews being conducted currently with a projected start date in November.
