Provide data entry, data management and administrative support for the UCLA Clinical Research Unit Monitoring Team. Complete data entry from monitored case report forms, prioritize and organize, track, copy, file and maintain complex study files. Check in and ship out the shadow charts and case report binders, assist monitoring team with audits and assist with the quality assurance of data and assist the team on an as needed basis. Work assignments may be changed on an as-needed basis in order to ensure the data management is handled appropriately and efficiently.

REQUIRED: Demonstrated working knowledge of current medical terminology specific to oncology, to accurately read entries in monitored case report forms. Demonstrated organizational skills to efficiently and effectively provide data entry and data management for multiple clinical trials and projects, providing accurate information in a timely manner. Basic knowledge and skill in personal computing. Computer skills using PC platform computers with proficiency in Excel, Word, FileMaker pro to enter data and generate correspondence accurately. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload to meet demands of PI’s, Sponsor, DSMB and FDA. Demonstrated understanding of confidential information, how it is defined, and demonstrated skill in maintaining confidential status of such information. Ability to write legibly using correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
