Security Supervisor

Summary
Maintain a safe operation environment for Park personnel and guests. Patrol buildings, grounds, and safeguard Park property. Handle duties at the Command Center, including but not limited to: monitoring a multi-screened monitor and dispatching security personnel to required locations; work with Harbor Patrol, Santa Monica Police and Fire Departments and Lifeguard personnel on emergency search and recovery activities.
Prerequisites:
AA degree preferred.
A minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in understanding security systems, safety, and first aid.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written, speaking clearly and distinctly and using correct English.
Must be able to analyze and interpret data, discover facts, and develop knowledge from available statistics.
Must be able to handle crisis.
Must be able to compose, edit, and proof read reports and correspondence.
Must be proficient in and able to use Microsoft Office.
