We are currently seeking Full-time and Part-time Lifeguard for a beautiful Private Beach Club in Southern California.
Summary
The role of the Lifeguard under general supervision performs a variety of aquatic services on a seasonal basis only. Incumbents perform life-guarding duties, ensure conformance with water safety rules and regulations, public contact, and may supervise and/or lead Part-time Life Guard staff.
Essential Functions
• Coordinate emergency procedures or provide first aid in emergency situations
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Skill in the application of life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
Qualifications
• All candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Work involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks associated with responding to aquatic emergencies
• Candidates must have valid and current: 1) American Red Cross Ocean Lifeguard Training Certificate, 2) CPR Certificate and 3) First Aid Certificate.
• Candidates must be willing to work full time, flexible schedule (Possible weekends)
• Must be available to work between May 15 and Sept 15th.
• All candidates should have good communication skills, be self-motivated, mature, responsible be able to handle emergency situations effectively and be willing to do other duties as assigned. Previous experience preferred.
This Position pays $15 per hour.
