Acquisitions editor for a small, independent boutique publishing house is seeking savvy new authors who are adept with the latest social media networks such as linkedin, facebook, twitter, you tube, and others. Active and ongoing posts to a blog, podcast, vblog to a ''community'' are especially desired. An updated website is a bonus. We currently publish in the following categories: organic, green and sustainable, health and healing, and body, mind, and spirit. We are looking for new authors whose body of work is unique and has the potential to ''stand out from the crowd.” Authors should have an existing platform that addresses a specific audience.
We have distribution throughout the US and Canada to national chain stores, independents and online stores. We are NOT a vanity publishing house. We are NOT a POD publishing house. There are NO author fees for publishing with us. We offer small advances and yearly royalties based on book sales.
