This is an antique wood framed mirror that has been repurposed into art, dated on the back of the glass/mirror 1930. Mirrors from those days were made by adding a silvering process to the back of a thick piece of glass to create a mirror, over time that silvering begins to deteriorate and flake away (silver loss) this mirror has much silver loss. This mirror was disassembled and the art work was printed on the face of the glass giving it an almost ghost look. The first Frankenstein movie came out in in 1931, the date we found on the back of the mirror glass is 1930.
