We are looking for reliable staff who are skilled in communication, can engage with consumers, and are able to identify a consumer’s needs while strictly following client-provided instructions. Staff will work in and around the store to pass out stickers, coupons, etc. and will work directly with a store staff to get consumers excited about the brand. The Mascot will take photos with consumers if asked. Staff must be able to approach consumers in a fast-paced environment and be able to enthusiastically engage with their audience.

Staff must be extremely reliable—NO no-shows! Mascot must be able to wear the full mascot costume for the full shift (with ample breaks) and both staff must be able to be on their feet for the full shift. The handler is the Mascot’s eyes and ears, so they must be able to be assertive and responsible. Staff must also be able to lift at least 25lbs, as the job requires some movement of the supply package(s).

Mascot - $30/HR
MUST be 5’8”- 6’0” to fit into costume.
MUST have an outgoing personality.
Must understand all protocols with regards in wearing a full costume of a well-known character. No speaking, Never be seen without the head, etc.
MUST be able to keep in constant communication with your Account Executive.

Handler - $23/HR
MUST have an outgoing personality—excellent verbal and people skills.
MUST own a smart phone with reliable internet access/service and data storage, screenshot and GPS capability.
MUST be able to complete a written recap detailing the event.
MUST take 20+ event photos and be able to store them on your device for 10 days.
MUST email/text all photos and recap to your Account Executive within 24 hours of event.
MUST be able to successfully return the costume: Leave the costume (correctly re-packaged) in the store and write on recap where it was left for pick up (no extra pay provided for this option, as it will be done right before you leave the store) OR drop off a FedEx/UPS package at end of shift - $10 bonus paid to whoever does this (it can be the Mascot or the Handler).
MUST be able to keep in constant communication with your Account Executive, including check-in geo-tagged photos and constant updates.
