Lucas Mill dedicated slabbing sawmills (also known as dedicated slabbers) are specifically designed for cutting large wood slabs. Dedicated slabbers use the patented Lucas Mill frame system to make setup and operation productive and simple. These machines create large, natural edges slabs from logs, stumps, burls and root balls with accurate results. Dedicated slabbers use specially designed ripping chainsaw chain to cut smooth and accurately through the largest and toughest of woods. The Model DSM 23 is the most popular Lucas dedicated slabber we offer. This complete unit comes with an extra long bar that cuts up to a 76" wide slab, and up to 19.7" thick. Comes complete with 3 loops of 27RX slabbing chain (229 Drive Links).
