Your Role: This is hands-on, active work in an animal hospital environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time (40+ hours/week)
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | 7-day operation
Position: Animal Care & Hospital Support Staff
You will:
Maintain hospital-level cleanliness and infection control
Clean kennels, treatment areas, and workspaces
Change linens, towels, and bedding
Clean litter boxes and feeding areas
Feed animals twice daily
Monitor animals for comfort, cleanliness, and safety
Ideal Background:
CNA, caregiver, home health aide, hospice aide, or hospital support staff
Professional housekeepers with medical-setting experience also welcome
Comfortable following care protocols and daily routines
Detail-oriented, calm, and reliable
Physical & Environment Requirements:
Able to lift 40+ lbs, walk, bend, and stand for an 8-hour shift
Comfortable around cats and dogs of all sizes
No allergies to animals or common cleaning products
Growth & Advancement:
For those interested, this role can lead to hands-on veterinary care, including:
Administering medications and supplements
Giving fluids
Assisting with animal care procedures
Requirements:
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Reliable transportation
Open availability preferred (facility operates 7 days/week)
