We are seeking a live-in childcare provider and mother’s helper for up to 50 hours weekly.
We have a fully furnished bedroom available, with a bed, furniture, and fridge. We are offering it for free with weekly pay in exchange for childcare. We live in a townhome in the Glendale/Montrose area, off Honolulu Avenue. We are offering the room, a bathroom, kitchen, in-home laundry use, and shared living space.
I have two children, ages 14 and 17, and need assistance with before and after school care and weekends. We need help with school drop-off and pick-up, prepping meals, helping with homework, laundry, cleaning, child supervision, chore supervision (as kids learn to help with chores), transporting to activities, promoting safety awareness, and maintaining daily routines. Ariel (17) does dance and a fashion class after school, and Jeremiah (14) does robotics and football. We would like a non-smoker with a decent driving record. We enjoy movies, swimming, music, dance, sports, and electronic games. You can earn up to $784 weekly depending on your availability.
We would like to find out what your availability and preferences are. Hours will typically be morning and evenings on weekdays, with a half day on Saturday, and Sunday off.
You will be contracted through an agency. Once our family meets with you and finds that you are a fit, we will refer you to the agency to complete the employment application. The agency requires two valid forms of government ID, car insurance, fingerprint clearance through Live Scan, CPR training, TB (tuberculosis) test, and two references. You will also need to complete an agency orientation, which is done weekly and can be in-person or remote.
