This cat literally broke my heart, he was so scared in the beginning, he let me pet him because he was too afraid to hiss at me. I have been rescuing feral cats since I was 15, I have never seen a cat so scared. Most of these 10 months, he was literally a ghost, I couldn't even look at him, without him finding a new hiding spot. Ten months later, he was finally coming around, a made him beds in all his favorite spots, he began testing me, running by me, to see if I would lunge at him, he was actually showing some curiosity about us, and being touched. I am devastated. He won't find another home, and I know I am his best chance at survival. I am out all night every night calling him. I actually only recently decided on a name for him, and he doesn't know it yet. He doesn't even really know the whole, kitty, kitty call, but he does know my voice. He accidentally got out, and did return, but my cat attacked him (he wasn't hurt, he usually stands up to my cat), and he ran off. I called the pound, I found out the general location he was originally trapped is 12th St W, and H-12, I'm going to look there. He has beautiful green eyes, and an extra long, bushy tail, he is also quite tall, and long himself. He went missing from 7th St. E. and k-12, so I am guessing, he might be anywhere in between.
