Security Operations Center (SOC) Dispatcher / Control Room Operator.
Responsible for managing communication and coordination of security operations from a centralized control room or command center. Core duties include:
Monitoring security systems (alarms, CCTV, access control, etc.) for unusual activity or incidents.
Dispatching security personnel to respond to emergencies, incidents, or routine patrols.
Coordinating with management on scheduling changes and updates. Operator will have a reasonability to adjust schedules as needed, provide updates as well as help with call off's and no shows. Some scheduling experience would definitely be beneficial but not necessary.
Handling a high volume of calls and radio traffic, maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.
Documenting incidents and communications accurately in real time.
Making quick, informed decisions in high-stress situations while following established protocols.
This role demands strong multitasking skills, situational awareness, excellent communication abilities, and a calm, decisive demeanor.
