It overheated, will need head work. It has the 4.7 v8. Cranked and started once since the event but I would not do it again. I have looked in the sparkplug holes with a bore scope, and there are a couple loose valve seats at least.
The vehicle is in good shape otherwise. Vehicle has 100k miles.
The car is 4x4 and has the most capable 4x4 option for that year : Quadratrack II. The differentials have E-lockers. The trans can disconnect for flat towing. The Commander uses the same running gear as the Cherokee so it can be lifted with the same kits.
There is a 3rd row seat with remote HVAC controls. Front seats are heated. there is ceiling infotainment. Will interface with a garage door opener.
I have AAA with 100 mile range and can have the car moved. I have comped someone before.
