I'm open to hearing about your particular situation as long as you need a room during the week only. Ideally I am looking for someone with a professional, skilled or very stable job position with a day shift 8 hrs or more during their work week of 4 days or less who has a home and/or family they routinely traveled to on their time off. Or, In other words you are out of the house Friday Saturday and majority of the day on Sunday.
I'm looking for a conscientious person that cleans up after themselves, gets along well with others, respects the home like their own. No pets, sorry, allergies.
My home is only minutes from Palmdale and many of the large aerospace companies, BYD, Moton, Boeing Raytheon etc. this is a great place for you to live.
The Rooms:
Choose from 2 rooms. Unfurnished 12x12 plus closet. Discounted to $575 for part-time 3/4 nights per week. Normal price $640.
Furnished 14x12 discounted to $625 for part-time 3/4 nights per week Normally $680.
The furnished room downstairs has a mostly private bath. In the unfurnished upstairs rooms the bathroom is shared but the good news is the bath is made for two. Two vanities, two sinks, to towel holders, medicine cabinets and drawer/storage space, ect. Due to the home’s large size you rarely need to interact with someone else.
I'm taking requests now to secure a room immediately or put on hold for September for an easy transition.

Are you working on the East side of Palmdale or Lancaster but are concerned about the safety of living there? Come live on the West side: It's still only a few minutes drive to your place of work.
In my neighborhood I'm fortunate to have an environment that is pleasant, clean, quiet and safe. No worries about dangerous persons wandering around threatening people. Is it clean well kept neighborhood where you don't have to worry about public safety threats.
Sorry, idealy I cannot accommodate remote workers or non-workers, (unless you are out of the house 8 hours or more during the day ) due to the high cost of utilities. This allows me to only cool or heat a very small portion of a very large (3700 sq ft) house during the hours while you are working. The cost of heating or cooling my house during full time is excessive.
What you can expect:
It's just me here. No husband and wife arguments or drama to tiptoe around. No limitations on shared areas. The room includes your own personal AC unit during hot months. Access to all shared areas including a 560 sq. ft. living room, 60 in TV with surround sound, 500 GB internet with Wi-Fi, recumbent bike, dumbbell weight bench, massage chair, pool table. All rooms have custom-made closet doors, ceiling fan. Endless hot water from a tankless system. Full size pantry. Modern kitchen appliances and full size laundry room with deep sink.
About me:
I have been renting rooms for nearly 10 years. The longest resident was a young woman for 6 years but most due to work or family changes average about 1 1/2 years. I am an easygoing retired person that mostly stays home and goes to church on Sunday. I don't hover or try to micromanage but I do ensure that everything runs smoothly and everyone's content. I'm very straightforward and easy to approach. I have handyman skills so the home is always in good repair.
