We are a growing subprime auto finance company with 80 employees and 8 managers. We manage a large customer portfolio and need a senior leader who uses data analytics to reduce losses, improve operations, and drive growth.
Role Overview
You will oversee company operations and management while leading data analytics initiatives. Your focus will be on analyzing large sets of customer and loan data to identify losses, uncover operational issues, and recommend corrective actions. You will also manage department heads, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data analytics across all departments, using loan and customer data to improve performance.
Build dashboards and reporting systems to monitor defaults, collections, recoveries, and employee performance.
Identify root causes of losses and propose actionable strategies.
Supervise 8 managers and provide leadership to a team of 80 employees.
Partner with underwriting, servicing, and collections to optimize credit risk policies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant lending regulations.
Drive strategic initiatives to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer retention.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Data Analytics (required).
MBA or Master’s in Data Analytics/Data Science (preferred).
10–15 years in financial services .
Proven leadership managing large teams (50+ employees).
Strong expertise in SQL, Python or R, Power BI or Tableau, and Excel.
Track record of improving loss ratios and operational efficiency through analytics.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
