Make a statement with "The Irreversible Downfall of the Intercostal Six," a 2004 painting by L.A.'s own Lia Halloran. This is a stunning (and VERY LARGE) original work (oil and acrylic on canvas over panel) that was previously exhibited in the "Space Is the Place" traveling exhibition (November 18, 2006 - January 14, 2007) hosted by Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The painting was also featured in ARTnews ("Reviews: Lia Halloran/Sandroni Rey,” December 2005), The Space Review (“Review: Space Is the Place,” December 3, 2007), and even The New York Times ("Space Adventures, Real and Imagined," August 9, 2008, https://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/10/nyregion/nyregionspecial2/10artswe.html).
The painting is signed and dated on the back and in excellent condition, although there is a small transfer mark (resembles a pencil mark) of approximately 4 inches along the middle-right edge of the work.
Note again that this painting is VERY LARGE (72 inches tall, 96 inches wide) and heavy and located on the second floor of a residential building (no elevator). You will need two people to move it and a large vehicle for transport, such as a cargo van, pickup truck, or box truck. Please take careful note of the dimensions.
