This is an antique piece of art. I got it from my 91 year (1933) young friend and she got this from her mother. According to my friend, her mother bought this pitcher in the early 20th century. She believes somewhere in the 1920ies or 1930ies.
Of course this ancient pitcher shows some wear. The handle broke at some point. It got perfectly glued back together again and this handle is very sturdy. It has been used by my friend mainly as a vase for many decades!! Recently she made some iced tea in it. The handle made it through just fine! She just now decided that she is over it and she gave it to me in the means to maybe find a new owner for it. Maybe you. ☺️
The inside is clean. I hand washed it myself. It might be dishwasher safe. I don't know. She has never used one... Hand wash might be the best way to further take care of this precious pitcher.
Please see all pix for detail of condition. If you would have any questions, simply reach out. Thank you.
