This chair As -is valued at $15k, by local antiquerian, IF I had paperwork from 1800s. (I don't have it). )
I was told this chair is hard to find in original condition. Quotes bt professionals who eork on antiques, 400 and up. Be sure you only use accredited professionals to review & civer seat.
If u r interested, please contact. I bought this at an estate years ago. I was going to retie the springs and; Recover seat with black chenille (I may still do it so I can use it again). Original finish and tapestry on the back oval, seat is 23 inches, cabriole legs, seats low to the ground. I am sure this was meant for a lady to seat with skirts. The oval seat is 23 inch wide X 21", oval top is 21 X 22 inch, original tapestry,on the back is plain black, solid frame original finish. 17 inch high seat. Overall 37 inch high.
